Bachelor Gal

Kit Sargent:

Call me Bachelor Gal

I've been termed one.

A confirmed one.

Scot-free Bachelor Gal.

Life with orchids

Not with four kids,

Oh, no, hanging out wash

Doesn't seem posh if you're me.

Nursing an urge to be free;

Free to float where god created

Venetian canals

With the world's emancipated Bachelor Gals.

This I learned from a bride:

Men are sporting

When they're courting.

Too soon Jekyll is Hyde.

Night and day mates

Don't stay playmates.

Oh, no, spare me the ring,

Give me the fling of the free

Bachelor Gal, liberated,

Bachelor Gal, dedicated,

Bachelor Gal, you know me, Al,

That's me!!!!!
